Tattoo Postcard - Ivan Le Pays

La photographie et le tatouage ont ce point commun de figer les souvenirs.

Débuté en 2017, ce projet interroge la symbolique des paysages, comme
représentation du souvenir. Réalisé sur plusieurs années, ce protocle compte plus
de 1000 participants à travers le monde.

Le projet donne lieu à la publication d'un livre collectant 100 portraits, tatouages
et témoignages archivés par l'artiste, exposés à L'Institut Pour La Photograpghie
de Lille en Décembre 2021.

Photography and tattoo share the common trait of preserving memories.

Started in 2017, this project explores the symbolism of landscapes as representations
of memory. Conducted over several years, the initiative involves more than 1,000
participants worldwide.

In 2020, the project culminated in the publication of a book featuring 100 portraits,
tattoos, and testimonies archived by the artist, which were exhibited at L'Institut
pour la Photographie in Lille in December 2021.
